EVP, Drama Series Development
Christina Davis was promoted to Executive Vice President, Drama Series Development, CBS Entertainment in June 2009. She reports to Glenn Geller, President, CBS Entertainment.
Davis had previously been Senior Vice President, Drama Series since July 2007 and Vice President, Drama Series from May 2005-July 2007. From 2002-2005, Davis was Director, Drama Series Development, CBS Entertainment. She started in the CBS drama series department in 1997 as assistant to then drama head Nina Tassler, rising through the ranks from supervisor (1999-2000), to manager (2000-2002) and director (2002-2005). Before joining CBS, Davis worked in drama series development at Warner Bros. Television (April 1996-August 1997).
Since joining CBS, Davis has been involved in the development of the CSI and NCIS franchises, The Good Wife, Blue Bloods, Hawaii Five-0, Elementary, Madam Secretary and Scorpion, and the summer event series Zoo.
This fall, under Davis' auspices, CBS debuted the new dramas Bull, the number one new series, time period winning MacGyver and Pure Genius.
Davis is a graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science. She sits on the Board of Directors for HRTS (Hollywood Radio and Television Society) and Girls Inc. Davis also serves on the Advisory Board of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers’ (NALIP) Diverse Women in Media Forum.
