In her role as Vice President, Scripted Content, Kate Kristensen develops and oversees scripted series across the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment portfolio, which includes USA Network, SYFY, E! and Bravo. Based in the Los Angeles office, Kristensen reports to Michael Sluchan, Senior Vice President of Current Scripted Programming and Mini Series, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.
Kristensen first joined NBC Universal in 2008, rising from an assistant to Manager, Unscripted Programming at E! Entertainment. In 2011, she went on to cover both scripted and unscripted programming and later became part of the Cable Entertainment scripted group working across multiple networks.
During her time with the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment group, Kristensen developed several notable series including the first scripted series on E! THE ROYALS and THE ARRANGEMENT. She is also the point executive on USA’s THE SINNER, Bravo’s IMPOSTERS, and the recently announced E! Pilot #FASHIONVICTIM.
Kristensen graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Independent Study, Television & Film in Society.
