Katie Cates has over a decade of experience in the talent agency business, and is currently a television literary and packaging agent at ICM Partners where she works with leading artists in entertainment including writers, directors, actors, comedians and musicians. After starting her career in Daytime TV Production at Proctor & Gamble's TeleVest Productions in New York, she relocated to Los Angeles where began working at The Gersh Agency in representation. She works cross-departmentally to package drama and comedy projects for broadcast, cable and streaming, in addition to individual artist representation. Aside from traditional scripted TV, she is also part of the ICM Comedy Group, which focuses on the multi-hyphenate and multi-platform comedy talent business. Katie is a graduate of the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University where she majored in Telecommunications/TV Production and minored in film and business.
