Anne Kenney is a television writer/executive producer and playwright. Most recently she was a writer/executive producer on the first three seasons of STARZ’ series, Outlander, where she wrote the acclaimed Wedding Episode, among many others.
She’s currently writing pilots for a YA/supernatural series for IDW based on the graphic novel, Chicacabra, by Tom Beland, and Rebels, a limited series historical drama based on the Stella-Award-winning book The Forgotten Rebelsof Eureka by Dr. Clare Wright for Ruby Entertainment, a Melbourne-based production company.
Her play, Last Call is currently in pre-production at the Open Fist Theater Company here in Los Angeles.
Anne graduated from Ohio University with a degree in journalism. After working at several newspapers on the east coast, Anne moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television. Her credits include: LA Law, ER, Family Law (co-created by), Greek, Hellcats and Switched at Birth.
She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, also a television writer-producer.
